Job Description: Job Profile:
A Senior Subsea Field Engineer on a crane barge responsible to manage critical offshore heavy-lift and subsea installation operations. Act as the vital link between onshore project teams and offshore crews, ensuring subsea equipment (like wellheads, templates, and umbilical’s) is deployed safely, on-spec, and within vessel crane capacities.
Key Responsibilities

• Heavy-Lift Planning: Collaborate with barge masters and heavy-lift engineers to analyze crane capacities, rigging configurations, and load distributions for critical subsea lifts.
• Procedure Execution: Translate complex engineering method statements and technical drawings into safe, actionable step-by-step procedures for the offshore rigging and deck crews.
• Subsea Integration: Oversee the deployment and installation of subsea hardware, ensuring accurate positioning, tie-ins, and proper interface with ROV operations.
• HSE Compliance: Lead hazard identification (e.g., HAZID/HAZOP) and risk assessments for offshore operations, ensuring total compliance with maritime and client safety standards.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Provide immediate, on-site engineering solutions to unexpected equipment failures, rigging issues, or subsea interferences during installation campaigns.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Mechanical, Civil, Ocean, or Marine Engineering.
• Experience: 8+ years of direct experience in offshore construction, heavy lifting, and subsea operations, often with major oil & gas contractors or maritime operators.
• Technical Skills: Deep understanding of rigging and lifting calculations, hydrostatic analyses, subsea hardware deployment, and structural integrity.
• Certifications: Standard offshore certifications required, including BOSIET/HUET, and valid offshore medical certificates.
