Job Summary
The HSE Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of offshore construction related task (Shutdown, maintenance etc.) while maintaining compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. The individual will be dedicated, motivated, familiar with local and international standard and provide support for the construction crew for safe delivery of project.

The individual will be dedicated, motivated, familiar with local and international standard and provide support for the construction crew for safe delivery of project.

Job Responsibilities & QHSE Commitment
Key roles & responsibilities
- Conduct and assist with the development of risk assessments and their workplace implementation ensuring all safety measures are known for offshore construction operations.
- Implement, monitor, and enforce compliance of the developed HSE plan, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and marine vessel crews to ensure coordination between the differing operations to ensure all safety concerns are raised and mitigated.
- Participate in incidents investigation, follow up and monitor close out actions.
- Assist in the implementation of Milaha (or client) workplace safety, environmental and hygiene management programs (Campaigns, inspection, tour).
- Carry out audits of PTW system and site inspections.
- Conduct Tool-Box-Talks and HSE meetings periodically as per work program
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections and activities on site.
- Compile and submit report of safety observations daily
- Maintain detailed inventory and certification of safety equipment
- Post all safety posters, bulletin, alert, and other safety communication as required and ensure content is shared among offshore teams.

- Are accountable for their acts and omissions.
- To follow agreed safe systems of work, to follow training and instructions, and to report accidents, incidents and near misses.
- Authority to enact a ‘stop work’ on operational activities at any point where they have a reasonable expectation that an event could occur which would result in injury, environmental effect, or damage to property
- May undertake whatever corrective action they feel reasonable at a given point in time to mitigate risk to people, environment, or property
