Job Description: Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Job Related Competencies
Educational Qualifications:
▪ Higher National Certificate (HNC) / Higher National Diploma (HND) / Degree
(BSC) in Instrument Engineering or equivalent
Experience Profile:
▪ 10+ years' varied Instrument design, installation, hook up and commissioning
experience.
▪ Working knowledge and experience in oil and gas industry codes, specifications, practices and of International Standards / Specifications
including various equipment certifications.
▪ Experience in Instrument and Systems with actual hands-on commissioning
work.
▪ Hands on Mechanical Completion, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning
experience.
▪ Onshore and Offshore experience.
▪ Previous experience as Authorised Low Voltage (LV) isolation authority.
Information Security:
▪ Employees shall read, understand, and comply with DPE’s Information Security
Policies, Standards, and Procedures.
▪ Employees shall promptly report any suspected or actual information security
incidents to their respective line manager or the IT Department.
▪ Employees shall protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of DPE’s
information assets.
Competencies/Skills/Others:
▪ Working knowledge of various Instrumentation systems and manufactures including Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers
(PLC) and all types of field instrumentation.
▪ Knowledge of safety procedures for commissioning such as Permit to Work, Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) and familiarity with Process Safety Management,
Mechanical Completion Systems.
▪ Instrumentation selection and DCS / PLC / HMI (Human Machine Interface)
Programming skills.
▪ Effective verbal and written English language communication skills ensuing
effective report writing skills.
